Our client wanted a sleek and contemporary bathroom with a bold contrast of dark and light elements. The aim was to create a sophisticated space that felt both luxurious and functional. We worked closely with them to design a layout that maximised the available space while incorporating high-end finishes and top-quality products.
To achieve a modern yet timeless look, we opted for a monochromatic colour scheme, featuring matte black walls, white subway tiles, and large dark floor tiles. These choices enhance the sense of depth while creating a refined, high-contrast aesthetic.
The existing bathroom was stripped out, and all plumbing and electrical systems were prepared for the new layout.
We reconfigured the plumbing to accommodate the freestanding bath, wall-hung basin, and shower area. LED lighting and a power socket within the cabinet were installed for added convenience.
We applied white subway tiles halfway up the walls to create contrast against the matte black paint, while large-format dark floor tiles provided a seamless and luxurious finish.
We completed the installation with the black towel radiator, glass shower panels, and ambient lighting, giving the space its final polished look.
The freestanding bath, shower enclosure, toilet, and wall-mounted vanity unit were installed with attention to detail, ensuring perfect alignment and functionality.
The finished bathroom is a perfect blend of modern elegance and functionality. The freestanding bath beneath the frosted window creates a spa-like atmosphere, while the glass-enclosed shower area maintains an open and spacious feel. The contrast between the black walls and white subway tiles adds a dramatic yet sophisticated touch, making this a standout bathroom design.
